Samuel Eremo was traveling by car returning from the dispensary with his caregiver, his caregiver had cannabis in her purse while in the backseat. The police; after sitting for hours waiting for him to come back down the road, pulled him over and asked for the passenger’s ID as well, then made her get her purse out of the back seat. She had cannabis in her purse and the officer proceeded to charge both of them for “Unlawful Transport.” In short, this was after several attempts to pull him over upon leaving and coming back to the house because they had a large outdoor grow.
Samuel was only facing a 93 day suspended sentence at first, but now he is facing two years.
